Study Abroad Application Deadlines
Please check the program application details for your study abroad program carefully and prepare to submit applications ahead of the deadline. Applicants complete two applications - one for Scranton and one for the host university.
INTERSESSION OR SPRING STUDY ABROAD
- Intersession January and Spring Semester applications for permission to study abroad must be completed on the University of Scranton site by October 15. Your completed course approval form should be returned to the Office of Global Education by the end of October.
- Your host university application may be required earlier, e.g. September. In most cases, the host university offers admission on a rolling basis, so you should complete their application well before their deadline. Check the host university's application dates carefully on their site.
SUMMER OR FALL STUDY ABROAD
- Summer and Fall Semester applications for permission to study abroad must be completed on the University of Scranton site by April 15. Your completed course approval form should be returned to the Office of Global Education by the end of April.
