Application Process and Deadlines

Below is an outline of the timelines and general dates for Intersession 2026 and Spring 2026 applications.

Students must create their University of Scranton applications for permission to study abroad at an affiliated university by the following Scranton Office of Global Education deadlines: 

• Summer Programs: apply by April 1 
• Fall programs: apply by April 1
• Intersession programs: apply by October 1
• Spring Programs: apply by October 1 

Students will also need to create a separate application for official acceptance on the host university's site.  Each host university sets their own deadlines, which may be earlier or later than the Scranton deadline.
