Making Changes to Course Schedule While Abroad

It is not unusual that students make changes to their schedules once abroad (for a variety of reasons). If you need to make a change to your schedule, you are expected to update your advisor as well as the Office of Global Education regarding any changes you propose to make to your pre-approved courses.

In the event you are adding or changing courses, you are expected to provide the same information to your advisor as you did in your Study Abroad Course Pre-Approval process. You will need to email your advisor (and copy the Office of Global Education) the course number, title, name and credit value along with where you propose to use the course on your University of Scranton record. Your advisor will approve your proposed changes via email.

Please note that failure to have new and/or additional courses approved could result in credits not transferring. The course additions or changes need to be approved prior to taking the courses.
