Program Description:
Program Description:
Located in the heart of Florence, literally steps from the Cathedral, the ISTITUTO EUROPEO, for years has specialized in teaching Italian language, Music and culture to students from all over the world. The Institute's philosophy is to make learning enjoyable; to delve into the study of the language and culture in a multi-cultural environment, which is both friendly and dynamic.

ISTITUTO EUROPEO is now pleased to offer Academic Semester and summer programs. Since our courses are widely accepted by most US colleges and universities, this allows students enrolled in US institutions to study abroad in Florence, while still earning credit toward their undergraduate degrees at their home institutions. Participants in the program have the opportunity to choose between two different options for both semester and summer courses.

Course Offerings:

Florence at the time of the Medici
Contemporary Italian Culture through the Arts
